CLARKS KENNEL PURCHASE CONTRACT
Dear new puppy owner,
Every precaution has been taken to ensure that your new puppy is healthy. Please have your puppy examined by the veterinarian of your choice within 48 hours of purchase. If the veterinarian finds the puppy to be unsound, the puppy may be returned to the seller for replacement. The puppy will be replaced at the earliest availability with a puppy of equal or superior quality. Returns must be made within 24 hours of veterinary exam and be accompanied by a written statement from the veterinarian stating in what respect the puppy is unsound. If the puppy becomes ill or dies due to congenital condition within one year of purchase it will be replaced by the seller. The congenital condition must be certified in writing by a veterinarian and be accompanied by supporting blood tests, pathology reports, etc. that prove the condition. Seller will not be liable for any expense incurred by purchaser. Vet fees are your responsibility. Common puppy ailments, such as parasites, unless severe, are not considered serious problems and are not covered under this contract. We are not responsible for hypoglycemia. All puppies are sold as pets only, and there is no guarantee as to size, conformation, or breeding capabilities. If you fail to take your puppy to the vet within 48 hours, this guarantee is void. Clark Kennels and you hereby acknowledge that any controversy that cannot be agreed upon, arising out of the sale, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association except as prohibited by law.
Your puppy should eat at least three times a day. We are feeding Eukanuba Puppy Small Bites, which can be purchased at any feed or pet store. To change your puppy’s diet, always do so gradually. NO MILK. Leave fresh water for your puppy at all times. Give one fingerful of Nutra-Cal or honey daily. If your puppy doesn’t eat, vomits, has diarrhea, or appears weak, notify your veterinarian immediately. DON’T WAIT.
